About MIDRA
Our Mission
MIDRA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose goal is the advocation and creation of a centralized “Skin-of-Color” educational atlas that catalogs various dermatological conditions by Fitzpatrick scale/diagnosis to build the most representative dermatological repository tool in the world.
Objectives
1) Serve as a means to aid diagnostic capabilities within Primary Care Fields that harbor misdiagnosis and selection biases dealing with skin of color patients.
2) Creation of a repository of dermatological conditions in a variety of different hues to further Machine-learning “working capital,” capabilities, and subsequent precision.
3) Act as a forum for doctors and med students to analyze pre-existing resources & treatment progressions that directly aids/expedite current diagnostic capabilities within the field of Dermatology.
